Vendors publish machine images, containers, SaaS subscriptions, data products, and professional services, with both free and paid options. Procurement and billing flow through the customer's AWS account, so charges appear on a consolidated bill and the platform manages metering and licensing; the SaaS subscriptions guide documents how usage-based and contract pricing are wired up.
Sellers register through the AWS Marketplace Management Portal and integrate metering and entitlement APIs using AWS SDKs, provided for JavaScript, Python, PHP, .NET, Ruby, Java, Go, Node.js, and C++. Listings undergo technical and security review before publication, and buyers deploy directly into their own environments.
